How your data is used: As visitors participate on this blog, they may post comments, click sharing buttons, “like” posts, contact Jared through the contact form, or become a follower or subscriber to the blog. Here is how I use this data:
- Comments, sharing buttons, and “likes” – These are for the benefit of the community. I read them to see what people think about the content on the site.
- Following or subscribing – In following the blog, you provide an email address. Every time I make a new post, you get an update in the email address you provided. This is for your convenience and is not required to use the site.
- Contact form – The contact form allows you to contact me, the writer of the posts on this blog. I only use the email address and other information you provide to respond to your message.
Disclosure of data: Some of the data, such as comments are public by their nature and disclosed automatically when a user submits them. I do not disclose private data, such as email addresses, to anyone.
Deleting your data: If you wish to have your data deleted for some reason, feel free to contact me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am able to delete comments, contact form data, and remove followers myself but need to contact the host for this site, Automattic, to delete “shares” and “likes”. If you are wanting to delete “shares” and “likes”, please be patient as I contact them and wait for their response.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
